  1. Re remove the flash coded slider bars and go back to the standard sliding bars for scrolling. In fact all the flash should be should be stripped from the admin. The admin should be about be efficient with space and our time. The new admin is slower and working in product tables is really does not work anymore.

  2. I just discovered that admins do not have the ability to change the shipping address for an order that was paid with PayPal Express.

    I had a customer call to say that he entered the address wrong, and wanted help changing it. I was unable to do it! The "Edit" link does not appear when orders are paid with PayPal Express.

    Currently the new UI displays tables in nested tables. These need to be the full width of the page to display more columns and information.

  4. One of our customers needs saturday delivery, but currently there is no option to provide saturday delivery or even pull the live rates from FedEx.

    It would also be nice to be able to show our customers how much they save on shipping when choosing us.
    Ability to show negotiated and list rates at the same time when requesting FedEx live rates.

  5. There needs to be a way to flag a specific product as Non-Cancelable/ Non-Returnable. My company will be offering a wide range of customizable products, for example coax cable assemblies. The customer can select the connectors and cable length. Since they are built to order, they need to be Non-Cancelable/ Non-Returnable or NC/NR as they say in the industry. Ideally setting this flag would add some sort of NC/NR note on the product page alerting the customer of this. Also would add a note to the order and invoice as well as the check out pages.   6. The drop down on the top right for 'Get Help' when accidentally hovered over blocks the Save and Cancel buttons completely and is 10000% annoying to deal with. Please make it so the Get Help dropdown is either somewhere else, OR not a dropdown at all, that only if you click on it will it drop down the options.

    PLEASE FIX THIS. So many countless times has my mouse strayed a few pixels too high and the stupid dropdown menu blocks the entire save button, thus wasting my time when it opens a new tab and when I have to…

  7. We would like to fine-tune our shipping rate calculations based on actual shipping costs vs. calculated shipping cost. Regrettably, we are unable to know whether Live Rates or Backup Rates were used to calculate the shipping charges.

    Please add a field to the shipping and handling line that indicates the method used to calculate the shipping cost, for example:

    (XX lbs) Shipping & Handling (Live Rate): ______

  8. We use Authorize at time of order, and Capture at time of shipping as our credit card processing schema. We do this because shipping charges are sometimes lower than the shipping calculator estimates.

    With the current layout of the order processing page, the order total is not visible when entering the amount to capture. In order to double-check the capture amount before clicking "Apply" we must scroll up to see the Order Total, then back down to click "Apply."

  9. The chat button in the admin area might be useful for newbies that have never worked with the Volusion admin panel before. But for those of us with years of experience, it just gets in the way. Please allow experienced users to hide this button, or move it to the help menu.

    I recently was attempting to enter a phone order with my iPad (ugh!) and a message popped up attached to the chat button, and I was unable to close it! I neglected to take a screen shot. If it happens again, I will do so.

    My store has many similar product names. If I try to search from the dropdown after entering a partial Product Name, there is no way to find the correct product.

    Because of this, I am forced to search for the exact product code and enter it manually.

    The dropdown list should be unlimited, or at least much longer than 10 line items.

  11. I do tons of updates on individual pages. Having a dedicated button for editing "this" page would save me a few seconds and that would add up to hours over the course of a month. Thanks!

  13. As a sole-proprietor, time is of the essence. Today I had nearly 40 orders - it took quite a while to enter Tracking #'s on each order screen, then another lengthy period to click the "Complete Order" button for each purchase after dropping them off at the post office. It would be nice if you could bulk edit/confirm these options by selecting the Batch.

  14. There at suddenly fewer characters for the shipping description. Before there were 70 or more now there is only space for 55 characters. Please increase this back to what it was.

  16. Will Volusion support Customer Information Manager (CIM) in the future. This credit card processing is supported by Authorize.Net and allows for token processing. Because our company downloads orders to our ERP system, we only have the Authorization Code. If an order is partial back-ordered, our company will ship In-Stock product, however, to ship the back order items, we must call the customer for their credit card. If we had token processing, we could charge the customer without a phone call. Also, for Book Of Month club, token processing would allow us to charge customers for each new book/per month instead…

  19. When I try to search for an order using the Company name, it doesn't produce any results, even if I type in the exact company name on the order. This has only happened since the update. Also, if it could be a little more broad to include keywords that would be helpful.

  20. There is a lot of wasted space in the new admin. This leads to much more scrolling than in the previous version and also does not display a large amount of data at once. It also runs much more slowly than the previous version.

    Thank all of you for taking the time to provide us feedback. Currently our UX team is using this data to develop some new strategies to make the user experience more friendly. The status of this post will be updated as we move closer to a resolution.
